Teach Your Children, 2013

For 2013's Perform Chinatown, I decided to explore my own vulnerability within my community by requesting that festival goers teach me to ride a bicycle. I had previously only ridden one once at 11 years old. My father had passed away earlier in the year, and I wanted to engage in a performance that would make me more reliant on my community to teach me things he no longer could.
