I'm thankful for that write-up. Awesome
I would visit it.
We tackled the topic of shared identity in our Political Governance class last semester and how vital it is for a society to function effectively. I even did a research and saw an excerpt of Richard Putnam's research on it. There was a section that talked about the identity of individuals and how they shouldn't be forced to replace an old identity with a new one. Instead, a new common identity must be built. The combining of the elements of the diverse cultures enable these individuals to feel that they belong, and thus motivate them to participate within the society.
